Paul’s role as Managing Director is both diverse and challenging. "To be both creative and consistent in a competitive environment is a task in itself". I like to think that as a company we offer a no pressure approach to ensure that all our clients are provided with consultation which has only their business interests at heart.
As Pamaya’s CTO and a co-founder, I have the responsibility of ensuring that the conceptual design of the project follows client requirements, is targeting the right audience and has the functionality (and usually more) than needed. I am a good all-rounder, not scared to learn and develop new techniques all the time. I have got almost 200 websites behind me; some I designed, some I developed and for some I coordinated the development between the client, the marketing wiz, the designer and the team of developers.
Working at Pamaya has allowed me to expand on my knowledge as a PHP programmer
and a CSS/XHTML/AJAX developer. With a passion for technology I like to be in
the know as much as possible about what new and evolving technologies will
allow me to create new and existing products for our clients. My plans for the
future are to learn how to get the Microsoft products we rely on to work in a
Linux environment; and do away with the smell bloated Windows OS I currently
use....
"After having two years off work to have my son, I decided it was time for me to return to work on a part time basis, and as luck would have it there was an opening at Pamaya Ltd, after a few weeks of hounding the bosses, I finally got an interview, where, lo and behold I seduced both Paul Maja with my charm, wit and some might say – ethereal demeanour!! They hired me on the spot, and none of us have looked back ever since. Pamaya is a great place to work, offering a relaxed but professional environment for me to park my bum three days a week. I work in an administrative role, handling the day to day queries that occur. I also aid my colleagues with project support as and when required. I am a Web designer/SEO expert who has immense working experience in website
designing and web development ,strictly follows valid XHTML and CSS, compatible
with all browsers and resolutions. My areas of expertise include Adobe
Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design, Macromedia Fireworks, Flash, Freehand,
Dreamweaver, Corel Draw, Swish, Director, Action Script, Javascript, 3ds Max,
Adobe Premier, Sound Forge, After Effects. I believe in creations rather than

I am a 22 year old Web Programmer, and recently completed my Masters in
Software Engineering. I began computer programming in 1995 with BASIC, before
progressing rapidly to C and C++. Having done two full time academic projects
in C#.net in Fingerprint Recognition system for PDA's and Optical Surveillance
security system, later I became involved in Internet technologies in which I
found my passion, and further progressing to dynamic, database-driven websites
with PHP, MySQL, Javascript, and AJAX technologies. With a great impulse for
new technologies and as an active supporter of the Open Source movement, my
